The important reprocess of geological science in the Secondary Education in Greece, as well as the necessity of Geological Science in all sectors of education, scientific research and social life, has been the motive for the development of her Doctoral Thesis. Geology has been developed and evolved in Greece, based on specific economical and socials needs, mainly at the 20th century. It was then, when the first scientific community of Geology, the Academic Faculties of Geology and the more important academicians made their appearance, resulting the consolidation of the Science of Geology in Greece. The social and cultural dimension of the Science of Geology reflects at the Higher Education, as well as in the Secondary Education. The Science of Geology is been taught as autonomous course, or as part of other Natural Sciences, in the educational institutions of Secondary Education.
