About me I graduated from the Department of Geology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2005. I proceeded with studies towards a M.Sc. Degree in "Teaching of Chemistry and New Educational Technologies" in 2007, at the Department of Chemistry at the same University. (http://www.chem.auth.gr/dixinet/).
In September 2015 i finished my PhD thesis in the Laboratory of Geology in the Department of Geology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The subject of my Phd thesis is "Historical development of geological education in Greece" and my supervisor was Professor Spyros Pavlides.
Starting in October 2016 until October 2018 , ι teach, for two academic years, the course "Teaching of Geology" in the Department of Geology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. (https://geologyedu.weebly.com ).
I am currently (January 2020 - December 2021) postdoctoral researcher at Institute of Environmental Research and Sustainable Development of National Observatory of Athens. My research concerns the Approaches of Meteorology and Climate Change in school textbooks of sciences: the case of at Junior High School and High School in Greece. My postdoctoral research is co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund- ESF) through the Operational Programme «Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning» in the context of the project “Reinforcement of Postdoctoral Researchers - 2nd Cycle” (MIS-5033021), implemented by the State Scholarships Foundation (ΙΚΥ).
